Webex Active User Agreement

If you subscribe to Meeting Services through a Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan subscription, your use of the Service is subject to the Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan End User License Agreement and Plan Offering Description, which can be downloaded here. In your subscription order, you define a purchase model and your payment obligation is based on the number of knowledge workers who access Cisco software and cloud services and host at least one meeting. You define a deployment model (in the cloud or on-premises) for each active user. When a knowledge worker hosts a Webex meeting and a Cisco Meeting Server meeting, they are counted as two active users. Your knowledge workers will receive unique accounts that cannot be shared or used by anyone other than the designated knowledge worker. The active user purchase model allows you to purchase full meetings with a minimum purchase of the largest of the following meetings: (a) 40 knowledge workers; (b) 15% of your knowledge workers; or (c) if you transfer the current number of paid active users from a Cisco Active Meetings subscription as part of your meeting subscription. If you need to manage many users, you can view only active or inactive users and export a CSV file with active or inactive users in Webex Site Administration. Also, web conferencing delivery in a company tends to increase adoption rates (which is certainly Cisco`s goal), even though much of that adoption comes from casual users who may have better (or at least more profitable) options. Microsoft`s launch of Skype for Business (which replaced Lync) earlier this year is prompting IT and procurement organizations to take a closer look at the value proposition of traditional conferencing providers. We`ve already seen a sharp year-over-year decline in market prices for web conferencing services, largely due to the competitive threat posed by Skype for Business. When you designate a user for a cloud deployment, you must also select one of the following meeting cloud services: (a) Webex Meetings Suite, or (b) any combination of Webex Meetings, Webex Training, Webex Events, and Webex Support. Webex Events 3,000 is only offered standalone and cannot be purchased with the same subscription with another Meetings cloud service. For more information, see Table 1.

An enterprise-wide subscription for meetings, calls, or meetings and shared calls. For organizations with 250 or more users, this template is for you. You can select meetings or calls, or both. Team collaboration (Webex Teams) is included for all users. With this plan, you can purchase full cloud calls (Webex Calling or Webex Calling for SP), meetings (capacity of 200 participants), and team collaboration (Webex Teams) at a price per user with no minimum purchase. You must also select a specific meeting service for each user: either the entire Webex Meetings suite, or any combination of Webex Meetings, Webex Training, Webex Events, and Webex Support. You cannot select this option in combination with Webex Events 3,000 below. When you choose Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan Meetings- Enterprise Agreement, you get permissions for a set of meeting features. Table 3 describes the features included and the availability of each feature to users with a cloud and on-premises deployment model. Table 4 describes the add-on features that can be purchased in addition to your subscription and the availability of each add-on feature based on the specified deployment model.

If you choose not to renew your subscription, your Webex account will be converted to an entry-level cloud service. The free cloud service has fewer features and different usage limits than the paid cloud service. Cisco may change these features and limitations at any time in its sole discretion and without notice. Cisco may also deactivate or delete your free account and all data associated with it if you exceed the storage limit of 5 GB per user. Slido provides audience engagement technology to deliver interactive and inclusive experiences to all participants in person or virtually. A variety of Slido`s survey options and Q&A features are now integrated with Webex. A ”true forward transfer” is an adjustment process that brings together the costs you owe if the number of knowledge workers deployed exceeds your growth allocation. If a True Forward is required, Cisco will issue an invoice as part of the annual True Forward event to adjust your payment obligation to your usage. Under the terms of the program, True Forward is evaluated within the billing year after you exceed the growth allocation. If you are evaluated as True Forward for one year and no longer exceed the growth allocation, you will not be evaluated as True Forward the following year.

You must not at any time reduce the number of knowledge workers in your EUIF during your subscription. For more information about the True Forward process, including billing, see your purchase agreement. Upon reasonable request, you may need to verify the number of software licenses you have installed, viewed, deployed, or activated. Cisco or your partner will assume the True Forward calculation and any additional billing required Your responsibilities in connection with True Forward overruns are directly related to your payment obligations and, therefore, any error in the performance of these responsibilities may result in an interruption of the Services. You select a software deployment model for each of your users. For each user with meeting permission, you define one of two deployment models: hosted in the Webex cloud or deployed on your own premises. For each user with call permission, you specify one of three deployment models: hosted in Webex Cloud, deployed on your own premises, or hosted through a partner`s hosted services. Note that if you select an on-premises or partner-hosted deployment, you will also receive the Webex App cloud service.

You have the option to switch from an on-premises or partner-hosted deployment to a cloud deployment and vice versa. The deployment model that you select for a user determines their software authorization, as shown in Table 2 below. For more information about deployment options for Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan Meetings, see the Features and Benefits section of this datasheet. Audio Broadcast is an ideal solution for environments where there are a small number of active speakers and a very large number of listeners who want to participate in a fundamentally pure listening mode. Click Export only active users or Export only inactive users. With the exception of Cisco Meeting Server, your on-premises deployment users can access the software using licenses and PAHs. To access Cisco Meeting Server, you must perform the following additional steps. First, download the first bootable software image from the Cisco Software Download Center. If you have not yet installed Cisco Meeting Server, purchase R-CMS-K9 SKU (US$0 GPL) and you will receive the required activation key. If additional licenses are required, you or your partner can request additional licenses from Cisco`s licensing team.

One of Cisco`s ”innovations” in recent times seems to be a greater focus on driving the so-called ”consumption model” of the active user (in fact, just another pricing system that comes with its myriad of license types) that can allow enterprise users to significantly reduce costs in the first year – but at the risk of often unnecessary cost increases in subsequent years. .
